Re: Javier Hernandez .... In Advanced Talks
Hopes that Javier Hernandez will arrive as West Ham’s latest signing have been savaged by the Mexican’s extraordinary wage demands.

With various media outlets currently claiming his next destination is either the Boleyn or Bayer Leverkusen, Hernandez looks to have priced himself out of a move to the east end.

The Manchester United player – having finally been made available by Reds boss Louis Van Gaal – has doubled his wage demands since the Hammers first showed their hand a few weeks ago.

ClaretandHugh has learned exclusively that figures of around £65k a week were on the table and looking agreeable but that in the latest round of talks “the numbers have gone crazy” to quote a highly placed source.

We have been reliably informed that the player now wants a £130k a week plus goal bonuses of between £50k to £80k.

And unless Hernandez and his agents take a massive reality check before the transfer window closes the club’s No 1 target will not be arriving at the Boleyn.

Meanwhile, we were told the Irons are holding what was described as “a partial interest” in Hull City’s Nikica Jelavić.

You do wonder how the owners made their millions. Suppose selling dildos + soft porn did not require much 'advanced talks

After the window shuts I hope some one makes a list of all the 'advanced talks' posts.

Re: Javier Hernandez .... In Advanced Talks
Farco.he has shown me that if played to his abilities and strengths he is very similar to Denis La w

Far Cough 10:28 Wed Aug 19
Re: Javier Hernandez .... In Advanced Talks
He's not similar to Denis Law at all, Denis Law was absolutely great in the air, something Hernandez doesn't have in his locker

Hugh Monteith 10:26 Wed Aug 19
Re: Javier Hernandez .... In Advanced Talks
He is very similar to Denis Law in style.and he doesnt fit in with game and style of play that Utd have which is builded around Rooney as the main striker

Yanto 7:25 Wed Aug 19

Re: Javier Hernandez .... In Advanced Talks
"Apparently ManU want a player that can play wide, score goals and has pace. "

Isn't that EXACTLY what Hernandez does?
